Veterans

A veteran is someone who has served in the armed forces for 1 day or more.
This terms applies to those who have served either in the regular armed forces and the territorial army.

It’s important that you let us know of your prior service for our country so that we can give you the appropriate level of treatment for your needs.  

For example, we may need to;
– Apply for access to your military health record.
– Ensure your care continues in the NHS.
– Ensure that you are not disadvantaged in receiving healthcare by leaving the armed forces.
– Provide priority access to NHS help for any condition resulting as a consequence of your military service (subject to clinical need)
